Techvora builds and runs a small number of products, each one aimed at a job somebody has to do whether or not the software helps. We would rather be the tool you stop noticing than the platform you have to learn.
Techvora is a product company, not an agency. Everything we work on is ours to design, ship, host and support — which means we are the ones who live with every decision we make.
Our products are not generic templates aimed at everyone. One teaches the Irish driver theory test from published road-rule sources. Another runs home delivery for local stores in six languages. Specific problems have specific answers.
Each product carries a written boundary — the things it will never become — and we hold it. It is the least glamorous part of the work and the part that keeps a product usable five years in.

Three commitments, and what each one costs us.
The hard part of building software is not adding things. It is deciding what a product refuses to become, and then holding that line when every request is individually reasonable. Each of our products has a written boundary — a list of what it will never do — and that list is as much a part of the design as the features are.
Most software collects because collecting is easy, not because the product needs it. We start from the opposite end: if the work can happen on your device, it happens on your device, and then there is no database to protect, no breach to disclose and no account for you to remember. Where a product genuinely does need a server, we say so plainly and keep what it holds to what it uses.
We are not contractors handing over a codebase. Every product in the catalogue is one we built, host, support and answer the email for. That arrangement removes the usual gap between the people who decide how something works and the people who live with the consequences — when a decision is wrong, it is us it comes back to.
Easier to check than a promise: these are things our products already do not do.
If a product can work without knowing who you are, it does not ask.
